Frequently asked questions
How long does a DSG remap take?
Usually within a single day. The time depends on the type of control unit and the testing required.
Do I need an engine remap as well?
Not always. On some cars, though, remapping the engine and gearbox together gives a better result.
Do you also change DSG oil?
Yes, using genuine fluids and filters. See our Automatic gearbox oil page.
