We measure emissions with Bosch equipment – the Bosch FSA 740 engine tester and the latest Bosch BEA emissions analyser, which measures diesel smoke opacity. You'll know how your engine is doing before the official emissions test.

What we measure

Frequently asked questions
Why is my diesel smoking?
Most often because of worn injectors, a dirty intake, a faulty EGR valve or a DPF problem. We find the cause through measurement and diagnostics, then fix it.
Is it worth testing before the emissions test?
Yes. You'll know in advance whether the engine is within the limits, and we can fix any fault before the test.
Do you test both petrol and diesel?
Yes. We test petrol engines with an exhaust gas analyser and diesels by measuring smoke opacity with the Bosch BEA.
